My approach
My approachSix principles that shape the way I work
Understand the need
Listen to business teams and users, rephrase, and run workshops to capture and formalise what is really expected.
Structure the functional response
Write clear functional specifications, configure reference data and define the data to be migrated.
Coordinate stakeholders
Act as the link between business teams, IT, technical teams and software vendors so that everyone works from the same basis.
Secure quality
Prepare acceptance testing, build test datasets, qualify and prioritise defects before any go-live.
Share knowledge
Design practical materials, train administrators and end users, and support them at go-live.
Improve continuously
Identify malfunctions, propose functional improvements and keep documentation up to date.
These principles summarise the activities described in my career history. They are neither a certified methodology nor quantified results.
